I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and compassionate space for you to explore your concerns and vulnerabilities. My passion is helping to nurture hope and recovery in the lives of my clients through supporting healthy behavior changes and emotional healing. My therapy style is warm, genuine, solution-focused, and collaborative. I use an evidence-based, integrative approach to psychotherapy, utilizing skills-focused therapies (such as CBT and DBT) combined with a strong Psychodynamic (insight-oriented) framework.
I help individuals and couples (ages 18+) manage and recover from anxiety, depression, chronic pain or illness, relationship concerns, addictions or substance abuse issues as well as problems with sleep, body image, self-esteem, and ADHD/organizational difficulties.
My speciality in Clinical Health Psychology emphasizes the mind/body connection, and I often incorporate meditation and relaxation strategies into the therapy. I have 11 years of experience working with undergraduate and graduate students at a college counseling center and in outpatient settings. I will consider treating couples on a case-by-case basis.
