I have extensive experience in the treatment of a wide variety of problems associated with stress, emotional symptoms, and relationship problems. In addition to my experience with many different kinds of people, my practice is informed by extensive experience training psychotherapists at the University of Michigan, the University of Virginia, Vanderbilt University, and, currently, as Professor of Psychology in a local graduate program here in Atlanta. I am a diplomate in Clinical Psychology, and my contributions to the field of Psychology have been recognized by election to Fellow status by the Academy of Clinical Psychology, the Georgia Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association. I think psychological problems are most effectively addressed by a collaborative exploration of your inner experiences and interpersonal relationships in a supportive and nonjudgmental atmosphere, which can result in increasing self-knowledge and improving interpersonal skills.
