I conducted my own private practice in Avon, CT for 18 years. During the last 3 years of doing so, I began working part-time as a clinical psychotherapist for Northeast Neuropsychology. In 2019, I transferred my private practice patients into Northeast Neuropsychology. My primary psychological focus is on the phenomenon of identity, and the journeys that we all have to embark upon to truly gain a deeper appreciation for our true authentic selves. My therapeutic style is mainly influenced by psychodynamic and client-centered therapies, while integrating aspects of metaphors from literature and Classical Mythology. As so many patients struggle with serious pain and distress, I find it enormously helpful to include humor as an adjunct to adaptive theories and approaches.
