Dr. Zarzecki has enjoyed her private practice in Sarasota for the past twenty years. Areas of specialty include neuropsychological assessment, therapies, and forensic services in the areas of medical/behavioral health, neurological disease and injury, rehabilitation, neuropsychology, military psychology, developmental transitions, and trauma recovery. Most of her patients are referred by their physicians or attorneys following medical or neurological events and related losses. She works with adults of all ages, couples and families, and adolescents over age 16. Forensic services include assessment and therapy in personal injury litigation, workers compensation, disability, criminal and civil litigation and guardianship/competency. Dr. Zarzecki is a board-certified clinical psychologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, as well as a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida. After receiving her doctoral degree at the University of Miami and completing her internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. Zarzecki completed her postdoctoral residency in adult and child neuropsychology and rehabilitation at a CARF-accreditted outpatient facility. Dr. Zarzecki has been a member of the staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital since 1998. In addition to her private practice work, Dr. Zarzecki was previously the Project Director for numerous programs at Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. in Sarasota, Florida. She was the Program Coordinator for the federally funded Community Assessment and Intervention Center, or CAIC for children and adolescents. Her work on this project gives her a unique vantage point to understand the community systems of care.
