People usually find me to be easy to talk to, supportive and friendly, and genuinely interested to find solutions to the problems you bring in. After the first meeting, I've had many clients say, "You seem like a regular guy." I'd like to think that I am. At the same time, a psychologist should be dedicated to learning and practicing the most current, empirically supported treatments. I practice cognitive-behavioral therapy exclusively, a treatment orientation that is solidly rooted in scientific research: I will collaborate with you in order to practice new ways of thinking and acting in order to produce emotional and behavioral changes. I am rarely surprised by the variety of problems we can have as human beings, but so long as you are motivated and curious too, I expect to be able to help. I specialize in the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and depression. For more details about my background, experience, and style be sure to use the hyperlink to my website.
