Treatment goals may be related to gender identity and gender care (coming out, navigating minority stressors, transition/treatment planning, preoperative letter writing, gender-based trauma recovery). I also provide services for transgender, intersex, and gender expansive folks who have treatment goals which may not be related to their gender or gender history, but would like to work with an affirming and in-community provider. I have experience with recovery oriented, trauma informed, and harm reduction approaches to substance use, serious mental illness, and complex trauma/PTSD. I am a veteran and have experience providing care to service members, veterans, and their families.
