I specialize in working with adults (18+) who are experiencing relationship or interpersonal concerns, life transitions or disruptions, identity/LGBT concerns, or reactions to trauma. I offer therapy focused on targeting negative thoughts and emotions (CBT) and working on interpersonal and resilience skills, as well as specialized therapy for trauma (Cognitive Processing Therapy, considered a best practice treatment for PTSD). My overall mission is to help you resolve inner struggles and feel comfortable in your own skin. I want you to feel valuable and confident. Depending on your goals, you can expect to develop realistic beliefs, decrease or tolerate your stress or other negative emotions, form a balanced level of trust in others and other relationship skills, navigate life changes, and feel positive about yourself. I will work with you to form a plan based on treatment research and your personal goals. Before I entered my own practice, my job entailed meeting new hospital patients daily; I picked up a reputation of forming a good rapport with people very quickly. I truly care about each person I talk to and I believe you'll feel that come across if you speak with me. I am passionate and energetic. Call or message me if you'd like to explore our fit.
