Originally from East Michigan, I completed my masters degree and Ph.D. in psychology at Wayne State University. My first experiences as a therapist involved working with individuals with serious mental illness in the Detroit Area. After moving to West Michigan in 2017, I have been working with adults and couples dealing with life stressors, trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, addiction, ADHD, and relationship and family issues. My purpose as a psychologist is to help you feel as comfortable and safe as possible so that you are empowered to initiate the changes you want for your life. In a collaborative environment, I strive to help you navigate hurts of the past, deal with stressors of the present, and outline your future goals. Whether you are dealing with addiction, trauma, hopelessness, racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, relationship issues, or other concerns, I provide a trusting relationship in a judgement free atmosphere where I can help you achieve wellness. I use a multidisciplinary therapeutic approach that is specific to your needs and goals, including the use of mindfulness, motivational interviewing, education, trauma informed, cognitive behavioral, emotion focused, and solution focused therapies. I am currently operating through a teletherapy medium.
