Dr. Hasmita (Mita) Goklaney is a California licensed Clinical Psychologist who started her professional career in 1978 in social work upon graduating with a dual major in Psychology and Social Services from University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H. She earned a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Services Administration from Boston University in 1983; and later became a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), providing care to those “without a voice.” She was involved with early intervention, foster care, adoption, IEPs and teaching. Her academic training and work experience has provided her the opportunity to join Advanced Medical Psychiatric Services to provide therapeutic services and psychological diagnostic testing to children, adolescents, and adults as she strives to provide optimal patient care. Dr. Mita is also the Director of Psychology where she has taken on the administrative task to provide clinical supervisory hours for Psychological Assistants and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists.
