I provide individual therapy for adults using an integrative treatment approach. I work from a humanistic framework and draw on cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, and interpersonal interventions in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, grief, and problematic health behaviors. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA, and trained at various sites throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area, such as UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System. I completed an APA accredited internship and fellowship at the Long Beach VA Healthcare System, where I worked with Veterans in a variety of settings (outpatient mental health, intensive outpatient program, primary care, and the PTSD clinic). I also worked as a staff psychologist with active duty service members at two military treatment facilities. I have specialized experience in the treatment of childhood, combat, and sexual trauma and am trained in evidence-based treatments for trauma that include Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and EMDR. I have been working in the private practice setting since 2019. My experience includes working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing minority stress and individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. I am an advocate for multicultural competence in psychotherapy and see this as an area for lifelong personal growth.
