With over 30 years of professional experience as a Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Gerald Metalsky practices cutting-edge therapy based on the most recent research on effectiveness. As the founder of the Anxiety, Stress & Depression Center, Dr. Metalsky is both a nationally-known university professor and a practicing clinician who uses an empirically-based method for psychotherapy closely tied to research on therapeutic effectiveness. Dr. Metalsky is a fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and a member of the American Psychological Association. He is a member of the Society for Research in Psychopathology, and a former Member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Psychological Association. He is also a former Associate Editor of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology.
