Dr. Sohn is a licensed clinical social worker and a mental health therapist in the state of VA and Maryland. She has 33 plus years of clinical experience with a special interest in management of anxiety and mood disorders, and other mental health issues. She is also experienced in working with families and relational issues, especially multicultural and intergenerational issues. Dr. Sohn is fluent in English and Korean. She provides individual, marriage, and family therapy with a family systems approach for her clients.
Dr. Sohn received her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Master’s degree from the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.; and Ph.D in professional counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia
Dr. Sohn’s goal is to help her clients achieve holistic health by assisting in his/her effort for physical, psychological, social, and spiritual wellness. She feels passionate about community mental health and volunteers with local government and nonprofit organizations.
