I have been in practice for over 30 years and I believe that I am successful in making most clients feel comfortable and listened to. I have extensive training in psychotherapy and my therapeutic approach is practical and supportive; I am active, compassionate and able to engage the client in the therapeutic process. I try to meet the person where they are at and tailor a therapeutic approach that meets their needs. I have found that deep and genuine emotional understanding and insight translates into real and lasting behavioral change. In addition to working with people facing loss, dealing with depression and anxiety, working on relationship issues and also helping clients with more serious and long term mental health, dual diagnosis and characterological issues, I am also interested in adoption, infertility and sexual dysfunction concerns.
