Therapy can be a beautiful journey of healing, empowerment, and growth, but starting that journey can be difficult and takes a lot of courage. Many people have found themselves in a place they did not expect prior to the pandemic. Therapy can be a space to pause and navigate life’s challenges with the support of another. As a therapist, I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is key in creating a safe and accepting environment from which you can heal and grow. I prioritize relief from the pain that has brought you to this moment, but I also believe that true healing comes from deeper understanding of experiences. In our work, we will consider the ways that society, culture and intergenerational histories have influenced our views of the world, ourselves, and, ultimately, our mental health. My areas of specialized training and interest include trauma, relationships, identity development, emerging adulthood, parenting, with a sub-specialty in complex trauma. I provide individual and couples therapy, and consultation/supervision services. Therapy can be a uniquely beautiful and life-changing process and I would feel honored to be a part of this healing journey with you.
