Dr. Elizabeth Perri is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified sex therapist in private practice in Chicago. She offers psychotherapy services to individuals and couples, and utilizes evidence-based psychotherapy for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and challenging life transitions. Her areas of specialization include helping individuals cope with acute and chronic medical illness, as well as sexual health concerns. Dr. Perri earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Chicago with a specialization in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine. She completed her pre-doctoral internship (accredited by the American Psychological Association) and post-doctoral residency through the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Additionally, Dr. Perri completed advanced training in sex therapy through the University of Michigan’s post-graduate Sexual Health Program. She is certified as a sex therapist though the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
