I focus on working with those who struggle with problems stemming from childhood abuse or more recent trauma, high levels of stress, relationship struggles, chronic illness, etc., which have manifested in emotional distress, adjustment difficulties, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, personality disorder, or thought disorder. I use an integrated approach to therapy; specializing in psychodynamic therapy, and using elements of trauma-focused, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-focused, relational and dialectical therapy; depending on needs.
I completed an extended post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester and have 20+ years of experience providing psychotherapy to persons with mood disorders, PTSD, history of trauma, personality or thought disorders, chronic illness, autism, and intellectual disability. I have additional training and interest in Psychoanalytic Self Psychology. I also offer clinical supervision.
