Dr. James E. Taylor (he/him/his) is a multiethnic, bilingual (Spanish-speaking), licensed clinical neuropsychologist and certified brain injury specialist. He completed a predoctoral clinical psychology internship and postdoctoral fellowship (2010-2012) with the Portia Bell Hume Behavioral Health and Training Center, where he administered neurobehavioral evaluations and psychotherapy across the lifespan. Dr. Taylor also completed Fielding Graduate University's 2-year, APA-accredited postdoctoral neuropsychology fellowship (2019), where he administered neuropsychological assessments to Kaiser Permanente patients. He has a passion for helping the underserved, fostered by his late Mexican grandmother early in life. Through this passion, Dr. Taylor has received such local and national honors as the Mental Health Services Act Award, Multiculturalism and Internationalism in Research Award, Multiculturalism and Internationalism in Clinical Work Award (I-MERIT), and 1st Prize for a quantitative research presentation on underrepresented groups (QTUG, University of San Diego). Dr. Taylor owns and operates Sunshine Neuropsychology, Inc., a neuropsychological practice in Tracy, California.
