ONLINE (Secure Video-Chat) or phone visits from the comfort and safety of your home or office, or IN-OFFICE visits. Less than 5% of all psychologists hold Board Certification in Clinical Psychology (by the American Board of Professional Psychology or ABPP) and Dr. Levine is one of them. To learn why Board-Certification should matter to you in searching for a psychologist, see: https://abpp.org/Applicant-Information/Specialty-Boards/Clinical-Psychology.aspx You would probably insist that your surgeon be Board Certified before allowing them to perform surgery on you and therefore, you might want to be sure that your psychologist is similarly qualified. Dr. Levine served as a clinical psychologist at the UCLA School of Medicine soon after moving to LA in 2012 and currently has a private practice on Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills. Prior to moving to California, he was the Chief Psychologist at Mt. Sinai-South Nassau Medical Center in NY and was a clinical psychologist for the hit TV series "Hoarders" on the A&E Television Network. Dr. Levine has also served on the Editorial Board of the prestigious Journal of Behavior Therapy & Experimental Psychiatry. After receiving a Ph.D. at Hofstra University in New York, he then completed a 2-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) at the Department of Psychiatry at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Post-Doctoral Fellowship Training is NOT required in order to obtain a license to practice and therefore relatively few psychologists have completed such advanced training. Dr. Levine is currently licensed to practice in 5 States and sees patients from California, New York, Florida, Kansas and Hawaii. Feel free to email him (BHpsychologist@gmail.com), text him or call him (323-417-2325). If you call, Dr. Levine will answer the phone himself. You will never be required to discuss your personal and private issues or share information with a secretary or receptionist
