CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW APPOINTMENTS FROM FORMER CLIENTS AND FORMER CONSULTATION CONTACTS AND COLLEAGUES ONLY.
When a young client asked me what it is that I do in my office, I told him, "I listen." When an adult client told me what we were doing in therapy, she called it "straightforward honesty." My thirty years of experience as a psychologist and psychotherapist have prepared me well to practice "straightforward honesty" with you.
Psychotherapy, as I practice it, means that I am listening carefully in order to understand my clients deeply and without judgment. As I share my developing understanding with clients, their self-awareness grows. With increased awareness, clients begin to live more wisely. They experience reduced suffering and an increasingly richer quality of life.
In addition to helping people with problems in living their everyday lives, I have gained specific experience with helping children, adolescents, adults and families cope with ADHD and developmental disorders. I have also been helpful to persons with Autistic Spectrum Disorders who can benefit from talk therapy. Let's talk.
