I grew up in the Midwest, then completed my doctoral training in Berkeley, where I lived until 2006 when I moved to Taos, New Mexico, where I am in private practice. I was a professor at San Francisco State University and at the University of California at Berkeley until discovering my true vocation as a therapist. I began clinical practice in a hospital and then moved into private practice. Altogether I have been a practicing therapist for over 40 years. Continuing to learn and train in the latest approaches as they evolve keeps me excited about my work
