Diane C. Garrison, Ph.D., is an inspired leader, compassionate teacher, and dedicated healer. A licensed psychologist with 28 years of clinical experience, she is on a mission to teach people how to truly flourish in their lives. Now certified as a Feminine Power Transformational Coach and Facilitator, she is committed to assisting as many women as possible to develop a unshakable, trusting, honoring relationship with themselves so that they can become Full Power. “After years of assisting clients to move from dysfunction to stability, I am now passionate about helping my clients move from functional to fabulous, learning how to live a life of purpose and passion, a life they love”.
Dr. Garrison achieved her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has been practicing in both inpatient and outpatient settings since 1990. As Clinical Director of Livengrin Foundation, a multilevel Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Pennsylvania, she served as a supervisor and mentor to professional staff and graduate students. She was a pioneer in developing programming for gender specific and dual diagnosi addiction treatment. A powerful advocate for the unique needs of women, she has been leading women’s recovery groups for over 25 years. Dr. Garrison is now the proud owner and Clinic Director of Lake Country Wellness and Counseling, a holistic healing center in Pewaukee, Wisconsin where she continues her work with women struggling with addiction issues.
Throughout her career, she has worked with clients with a vast array of issues and challenges.
They have taught her that despite the presenting problem, the core issue was always a lack of healthy self-care skills. Healing comes from learning to take care of oneself in Mind-Body-Spirit & Emotion. Dr. Garrison believes it is her mission is to teach others how to become their own best friend. “When you honor and accept yourself, then you can truly soar.”
