If you're looking here, you've decided it's time to figure out something--maybe a difficult relationship, a chronic health problem or a cancer diagnosis. Perhaps you've been through some hard experiences in the past that you want to better understand so they don't interfere with your present life. Or maybe you struggle with anxiety or depression. I believe the therapy relationship is collaborative. Our therapy can help you more deeply understand your own feelings and behaviors so you can better cope and be fulfilled in your life and relationships. As a clinical psychologist, I work with clients of many different backgrounds and ages. I see couples and families as well as individuals. My expertise includes cancer/chronic illness/health issues, including infertility. I also work with grief and loss. Stress management, creativity issues, depression/anxiety, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD are all areas of specialization. As a writer who has been published in various magazines, newspapers and literary publications, I enjoy working with individuals who seek to do their own creative work. In addition to doing leadership consulting and training, I've taught graduate courses on legal and ethical issues, trauma, and family therapy.
