Is there a part of you that you don’t quite understand—something that feels like it’s holding you back or leading to painful, repeating patterns in your life? You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, feeling unfulfilled, or a sense of frustration about not being able to move forward despite your best efforts. I believe that these struggles often have roots in ways of thinking and relating to ourselves and others. These patterns can develop over time, and sometimes we are not fully aware of them. In my warm, curious, and engaged approach to psychotherapy, the relationship we develop will help you have a deeper, more complete understanding of yourself. I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, understood, and accepted. As you begin to feel more deeply known in therapy, this understanding can lead to both immediate symptom relief and longer-term, meaningful change—such as greater self-awareness, flexibility, and a sense of freedom in your life. I also work with same- and opposite-sex couples seeking support with a range of concerns. Couples therapy can help partners better understand themselves and each other, improve communication, and strengthen their emotional connection. You may be seeking relief during a time of crisis or stress, or you may have been considering therapy for a while but feeling unsure about taking the next step. Either way, you don’t have to figure things out alone. I invite you to contact me to discuss your goals and determine whether working together would be a good fit.
