Dr. Gelber has worked as a clinical and school psychologist for 30+ years, providing psychotherapy and psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults in private practice. Dr. Gelber also provides behavior consultation services for public and private schools, performs psychological evaluations for schools and adoption agencies, as well as disability evaluations for the Social Security Administration. With a cognitive-behavioral orientation, Dr. Gelber helps patients solve their emotional, behavioral, and family relationship problems after setting clearly defined treatment goals. Treatment is generally short-term, by design and clearly defined treatment objectives.
