Doctor David Garrison's training emphasized a broad spectrum of clients, resulting in his tailoring his approach to people on an individual basis. His education includes a Ph.D. from a Psychology program focused on the scientist practioner model, including work in community mental health, hospital training, and student mental health settings. He also holds a Masters in Education with a counseling emphasis. He has worked with medical crisis intervention and with public safety professionals. His current practice is wide ranging, with clients medical, teaching, technical, entertainment and legal fields. Dr Garrison works with gay/lesbian/bi/straight identified clients, including relationship counseling. He also works with people in early recovery from alcohol and substance use.
