Dr. Danny Sharara holds an APA-Accredited doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University, known for its human science approach to psychology, and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University. Danny completed his pre-doctoral training at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center and subsequently served as a Staff Psychologist at Carnegie Mellon University’s Counseling & Psychological Services. Danny has completed formal training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Contemplative Psychotherapy. In addition to his clinical practice, Danny has taught graduate courses in Mindfulness and Resilience at Carnegie Mellon University and Advanced Clinical Conceptualization and Multicultural Psychology at Palo Alto University.
