I am a child psychologist, board certified behavior analyst, and masters in special education and early childhood that specializes in helping children and teens with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, Pediatric Feeding Disorders, or significant challenges associated with eating. I created and directed the interdisciplinary Pediatric Feeding Program at Seattle Children's Hospital for many years that included professionals across nutrition, speech and language, gastroenterology, nursing, psychology, behavior analysis, social work, and occupational therapy. We provided services along a continuum of care from interdisciplinary intakes, to outpatient care, hospital consultation, and day treatment services. I also specialize in helping children who struggle with sleep, toileting, adjustment to complex medical conditions (i.e., multiple sclerosis), and generalized anxiety difficulties. I intentionally chose to provide care to children and their families in a farmhouse setting and a beautiful horse ranch in Fall City, Washington. I wanted to finally begin to offer equine-assisted mental health therapy as part of the care I provide to children and families with the above concerns. I believe in working with the entire family around these challenges while emphasizing a strengths-based approach to care.
