I have been in private practice for over 30 years. My practice includes adults, adolescents and couples. I take an eclectic approach to therapy with a focus on meeting the goals of my clients in the shortest time possible. My treatment approach is heavily influenced by psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and existential therapy. My values are strongly influenced by humanistic philosophy and its affirmation of people's drive and longing for wholeness, healing and health. I practice meditation daily and I incorporate mindfulness and compassion meditation into my practice for clients who are interested in learning about meditation. I have conducted meditation programs for employees of the Federal Court in Chicago, the Chicago office of the FBI, the Chicago Fire Department, and Will County Sheriff Department. I also do fitness for duty evaluations of police officers and firefighters. I love being a psychologist.
