Dr. Claire Ashbaugh is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington. She received her Clinical Psychology Doctorate with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from Sam Houston State University. She completed her internship at Western State Hospital in Washington State. She continues to work for the State of Washington, completing forensic evaluations in criminal matters. She has more than 10 years of experience performing evaluations to answer legal questions. She strives to provide neutral, fact-based expert opinions. Dr. Ashbaugh founded Alpine Haven Psychology Services to expand her forensic work and address immigration matters. She is fluent in French and speaks Spanish at an intermediate level. She has extensive experience working with interpreters. She also strives to consider each individual’s unique characteristics, experiences, culture, and society.
