Dr. Cindy Wang Morris is a clinical psychologist who has been practicing in Colorado for 20 years. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Denver. Cindy is the president and founder of Spark Inspiration through which she provides counseling, training, and consultation services. She specializes in individual and systemic transformation from a holistic wellness perspective.
Cindy also works as the Clinical Director of the Behavioral Health and Wellness Program (BHWP) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, School of Medicine. She administers the Wellness Leadership Institute as well as engages in a number of other activities, including program and curriculum development, program evaluation, consultation, service delivery, research, training, and supervision. She has developed many training programs and educational materials for administrators, healthcare providers, and peer specialists focused on health behavior change, work & well-being, tobacco cessation, and vaccination.
Cindy specializes in health behavior change, health promotion, leadership, mindfulness, and workplace wellness, working from a holistic wellness perspective. She works with organizations to create systems that support the overall health of the organization, its employees, and the people they serve. She is a member and certified trainer of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), an international organization committed to promoting high-quality Motivational Interviewing (MI) practice and training.
Her approach to counseling, coaching, and training is based on her experience in clinical psychology, her mindfulness and intuitive practice as well as her focus on holistic wellness. She engages in an innovative and creative process with her clients, using emotionally focused techniques to unlock individual and group potential
