Dr. Ionelli is a licensed psychologist and has a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology and two Master's Degrees in Psychology. Dr. Ionelli has vast experience providing individual, couples, group psychotherapy, assessment and testing, treating children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. With a specialty in Health Psychology and specialized training in Neuropsychology, Dr. Ionelli completed her doctoral internship at the University of Tennessee, Neuroscience Institute where she treated complex neuropsychological disorders and developed and implemented a Palliative Care Program. She has conducted research in the area of Women's Health and recognizes the importance of the mind-body connection. With a passion for helping people achieve optimal wellness and to feel their best, Dr. Ionelli treats and understands people from a biopsychosocial perspective while utilizing a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. Dr. Ionelli is a member of American Psychological Association, Florida Psychological Association, Psi Chi National Honor Society, National Association of Professional Women, and is the President and owner of Optimal Health Psychological Services. In her spare time, Dr. Ionelli enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors.
