I am a NYS licensed psychologist. As a helping professional, I believe you are the driver of your own bus. My job as your co-pilot is to guide, support, encourage, and challenge you in order for you to accomplish the goals you’ve set for yourself. I aim to do this primarily within individual therapy sessions, but also provide group therapy. I believe therapy is a place where you grow, learn more about yourself, develop your strengths and work through your issues and I look forward to helping you along your journey. My approach to treatment is to meet you where you are and travel from there. In my work, I utilize an integrative approach, including CBT, psychodynamic, trauma-focused, and feminist techniques. I am committed to providing quality services which consider the impact of individual and cultural diversity on one’s ability to navigate through life. I have extensive training and experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse/assault, community violence, and war. I have also treated people with severe mental illness, depression, PTSD and other trauma related disorders, and anxiety. I have worked with people of all ages and have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
