Dr. Caroline Ehrlich is a Licensed Psychologist who provides evidence-based treatment (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other treatment modalities) of psychological disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical interests and expertise involve treatment of eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, and developmental/behavioral disorders of childhood (including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, etc.). In addition to providing direct treatment to affected patients, she provides guidance and support to their family members and works collaboratively with other professionals composing the treatment team. Dr. Ehrlich also provides group psychotherapy and psychoeducational/psychological evaluations, and has specialized training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
Dr. Ehrlich completed her graduate work in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Miami, which culminated in a pre-doctoral internship at the Mailman Center for Child Development at University of Miami. Dr. Ehrlich completed her post-doctoral residency at Oliver-Pyatt Centers, where she gained extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders. After completion of her post-doctoral training, she was promoted to serve as the Senior Clinical Director of Oliver-Pyatt’s residential program. Dr. Ehrlich is member of the American Psychological Association and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She works out of the Aventura and Weston offices.
