I specialize in evidence-based services to help individuals and families overcome the challenging emotions that come with having experienced stressful and/or traumatic events in their life. This includes experience assessing and/or treating anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, and areas of functional impairment, including learning disorders. My primary theoretical framework and area of expertise is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a well-researched treatment model that has been shown to reduce symptoms related to anxiety, depression and stressful life events. I also conceptualize cases using the frameworks of attachment, family/community-systems, and humanistic theories, focusing on the whole person and community/family in which a client lives.
