I established Hudson Valley Psychology to provide greater access to gold-standard evidence-based psychotherapy. I work with adults in individual psychotherapy, and have three primary areas of expertise: anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral medicine (for example, sleep and gastrointestinal disorders). In addition to these areas, I also work with adults to improve mood, manage stress, navigate life changes and improve quality of life.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (e.g. CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure) and also have advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy. I foster a therapeutic relationship that is based on warmth and genuineness, and tailor treatment to your specific needs using interventions that have demonstrated effectiveness in scientific research.
Making the decision to ask for help is a difficult one, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Let’s talk about what you can expect from therapy and how we can work together to achieve your goals.
