I earned a B.S. in psychology from the University of Florida in 1996 and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of North Dakota in 2003. I have over 20 years of experience and have practiced in a variety of settings. My past clinical work has included primary care and community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, residential PTSD treatment, outpatient PTSD treatment, geriatric mental health, and health psychology. I have also provided professional consultation to psychotherapists seeking expertise with PTSD. I am licensed to practice psychology in Florida and Minnesota. In addition, The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact, or PSYPACT, allows me to see clients throughout most of the United States via telepsychology. An updated map of states that are included in this agreement can be found at psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap. I provide individual psychotherapy for a broad range of adult mental health problems including depression, anxiety, work stress and relationship concerns. In addition, I have interests in trauma and PTSD, geriatric mental health, caregiver support, coping with chronic medical illnesses and insomnia. My approach to psychotherapy is personalized, integrative and evidence-based, and focuses on tailoring the treatment to your particular circumstances.
