Dr. Imber's approach to psychotherapy, neurotherapy and biofeedback is based on the integrative approach to healing: improving nervous system dysregulation and performance by considering multiple therapy systems that are the most suitable for the client’s situation. Dr. Imber's Clinical Psychology education, experience and focus is on treating clinical concerns with therapies that may include: Client-centered, Emotionally Focused (individuals and couples), Positive and Existential-Humanistic, Analytical (Jungian), Cognitive-Behavioral, Exposure-Response, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, Systems (family, interpersonal, social, work), Interpersonal, and Psychodynamic. His awareness and focus is on holistic mind-body integration. Brian helps clients optimize their performance in relationships, business, sports, education, and the arts. Dr. Imber is board certified in Neurofeedback and Biofeedback and may integrate these modalities, and/or Virtual Reality, into the treatment plan. He is considered an expert in Biofeedback integrated with psychotherapy. He has advanced training and extensive experience with clinical psychometric assessments, QEEG assessments, EEG Biofeedback, Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback, Virtual Reality, and peripheral nervous system Biofeedback. He is considered an expert in treating chronic stress with the therapeutic application of psychotherapy combined with Neurofeedback, Virtual Reality, and Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback for mood disorders, attachment ruptures, addictions, traumas, anxieties, fears, and phobias.
