As a 3rd generation veteran, my passion began with understanding physical as well as emotional trauma in veterans, which was the focus of my training out of grad school when I did my internship and postdoc at VA medical centers. Initially I worked as a therapist however my continued drive to understand trauma at a deeper level prompted me to delve into the neuropsychological underpinnings of trauma related cognitive dysfunction, which is where my journey and training has landed me professionally. Currently, the focus of my practice is conducting comprehensive evaluations for adults experiencing issues in multiple aspects of cognitive functioning (memory, attention, academic, learning, etc.) via traumatic injuries, illnesses, neurodegenerative diseases, and other doctor referred conditions.
