I obtained my PhD in clinical psychology from The Ohio State University (OSU) in 1999 and completed my postdoctoral fellowship with clinical training in the OSU Anxiety and Stress Disorders Clinic and a research position through Johns Hopkins University. I founded Anxiety and Behavioral Health Services with a partner in 2003, and we specialize in the treatment of anxiety and obsessive compulsive conditions in adult clientele (ages 18 and up). I am certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology. I maintain membership in the International OCD Foundation as well as the Ohio Psychological Association. I practice from a cognitive-behavioral standpoint, including (but not limited to) implementing exposure therapies, mindfulness, cognitive flexibility, self-compassion, and strategies from acceptance and commitment therapy. I also conduct cognitive processing therapy for post-traumatic stress conditions as needed. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process and strive to honor the individual culture and context of each of my clients.
