Dr. Bert Diament holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Yeshiva University Ferkauf Graduate Scholl of Psychology. As a clinician in private practice for over 45 years, Dr. Diament has vast experience in psychotherapy with couples, individuals and families. In addition, he has been a school psychologist, has taught graduate and undergraduate course, and has given many lectures to professional and non professional groups. Specializing in brief goal oriented therapy; Dr. Diament is an Associate Fellow and on the training faculty at the Albert Ellis Institute for Rational Emotive and Behavior Therapy and a Gottman Institute certified Seven Principles Educator. Licensed as a psychologist in Florida and previously in Connecticut, he also received Diplomate status in Professional Psychotherapy from the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling and Psychotherapy. Dr. Diament is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Connecticut Association of School Psychologist for his service to children and families and has co-authored Parent Conferences in the Schools.
