Whether starting a new journey or taking a different path, I am here to walk with you. I am a licensed psychologist with over a decade of experience providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and families. I specialize in early childhood (infants, toddlers, and preschool-age) with the goal of fostering resilience, strengthening parent-child bonds, and proving a supportive space for families to heal and grow. I work collaboratively with families to tailor interventions to a family’s specific needs, developmental considerations, and evidence basis for treatment. I often use play-based approaches to develop a trusting relationship, facilitate self-expression, create a nurturing environment, and achieve therapy goals. Parents are frequently included and I often incorporate parent coaching to improve relationships, reduce conflict, and build parenting skills. I also enjoy working with expectant and postpartum mothers as they transition into motherhood. I have a doctorate in counseling psychology from NYU and specialist in school psychology graduate degree from Texas Woman’s University. Prior to my doctoral training I worked as a school psychologist for several years in both charter and public schools. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Aurora Mental Health Center, where I specialized in providing therapeutic and school consultation services to children (birth to five years) and integrated mental health services in an OB/GYN clinic to perinatal women. I believe that even in the most difficult of situations, people can have resilience and thrive if given the necessary support and resources. I am accepting clients and I do offer Telehealth services.
