Dr. Brown is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Dr. Brown earned a Masters in Urban Administration from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia before earning her Masters and Doctor of Clinical Psychology degrees from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She completed her clinical training at Hillside Family of Agencies: Crest wood Children’s Center in Rochester, New York. Dr. Brown entered the mental health field after working for several years with emotionally troubled children and adolescents, and in therapeutic foster care. Since earning her Doctoral degree, Dr. Brown has developed a diverse experience, treating a wide variety of issues; including child (beginning at 6 yrs old) & adolescent concerns, such as adjustment disorders, Attention & focusing disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief & loss. Over the years, Dr. Brown has expanded her treatment services to include adult female clients who are dealing with interpersonal concerns, anxiety/depression, postpartnum depression, stress & trauma.
