Dr. Annie assisted clients with mental, emotional, physical, & nutritional needs in group settings & individually with people ranging from the ages of 3 to 92 years. Dr. Annie works privately & through non-profit organizations where experience was gained in diverse settings, such as individuals’ homes, group shelters, & outdoor/nature facilities in rural & urban settings. 20 years experience in cross-cultural reconciliation work & restorative justice globally: Central American & Caribbean Nations & New Zealand. Annie's practice is influenced by her academic & experiential education with the buddha dharma & mindfulness, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, mostly native communities of the Americas (North, Central, & South), typically a historic blend of West African, Asian, Western European, & Indigenous Nations, & Pacific Island cultures. 20+ years experience of personal psychological care/work with professionals & mentors, individually & in groups. Foundational purpose is to utilize non-violent methods to address & transform self, communities, & cultures. Under the Depth Psychology umbrella, Annie's purpose is to address psychologies of liberation concerns (systems of oppression) of individuals & collectives. Her approach is seen through a Jungian, archetypal, & alchemical lens & engaged through somatic, eco/nature, & creative/artistic mediums. As a photographer, her goals are to facilitate relationship building, emotional education, & healing within our diverse world through the creative exploration of our imaginations; sometimes, the simplest reflection can inspire new attitudes for on the surface is a depth of perspective.
