Anne Huebner, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist who graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. She completed her predoctoral and postdoctoral internships at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, where she gained experience in treating posttraumatic stress disorder, psychological disorders related to transplantation, breast cancer, seizures, diabetes, obesity, and chronic and acute diseases. She gained additional practical experience treating couples, families, children, and individuals with different mental health disorders
Dr. Huebner uses research-based therapy techniques when individualizing treatment. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness and relaxation strategies, and behavioral health management of pain and medical illnesses. Other therapies include couple or family therapy, existential or acceptance-based therapies, or techniques such as motivational enhancement to facilitate improvements as well. Dr. Huebner also prefers to collaborate with clients’ medical, legal, or other professions to promote comprehensive treatment.
Dr. Huebner incorporates her academic and clinical experience to provide forensic evaluations as well. She offers Independent Medical/Psychological Evaluations (IMEs or IPEs) for disability, personal injury, Workers' Compensation, Fitness for Duty, Fitness for Practice, Risk Assessments, guardianship. Pre-operative bariatric evaluations and pump or spinal cord stimulator evaluations are provided as well.
