I work with clients who want a therapeutic experience that is not intervention driven. The goal of therapy is to co-create a therapeutic relationship which can provide a corrective relational experience. I am theory driven and understand individuals through attachment theory, interpersonal neurology, and personality theory. At the end of the day, it is relationship that changes us. The ultimate goal is to provide that therapeutic relationship regardless of the presenting issue. Because eating disorders present with potentially serious medical complications, if this is the presenting issue, I always work with a team. I am particularly interested in inter-sectional feminist theory and how as women age we navigate a misogynistic culture and remain whole.
