Dr. Amyanne Freeburg is a licensed psychologist and board certified in forensic psychology with the American Board of Forensic Psychology. As a distinguished judicial panel expert for Los Angeles County, she also performs evaluations for criminal proceedings involving mental competency and mental state at the time of offense. She has extensive experience as an expert in the evaluation of sexual and general harassment, employment disputes, trauma exposure, and the impact of orthopedic and internal injuries. Currently, she treats adults, adolescents, and families in a clinical private practice setting, as well as serves as an expert witness in civil, Workers’ Compensation, criminal and Board of Psychology standard of practice cases. She provides mentoring and consultation for other medical, mental health, and legal professionals. Earning her post-doctoral master’s in clinical psychopharmacology has given her an expertise in psychiatric medications and the interplay with other medical conditions and medications. She is also a provider for continuing education with the Department of Workers’ Compensation, CA State Bar Association, and American Psychological Association. She provides presentations and trainings on various subjects for attorneys and mental health professionals.
