Dr. Amy Cuellar is a clinical psychologist licensed to practice in the state of Texas since 2007. Dr. Cuellar is board certified in serious mental illness psychology with the American Board of Serious Mental Illness Psychology (ABSMIP). She obtained her PhD in clinical psychology (adult track) from the University of Miami and afterwards completed a pre-doctoral internship (general track) at the James A. Haley VA Hospital and a post-doctoral fellowship at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in the Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center. Her area of expertise lies in providing evidence-based psychotherapy from a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) orientation. Dr. Cuellar is also an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.
