Dr. Amelia Serine is a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in the assessment and evidence-based treatment of adults, adolescents, children, and couples affected by anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, body focused repetitive behaviors, and related disorders. She is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches, including exposure with response prevention (ERP), habit reversal training (HRT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Dr. Serine is passionate about helping individuals with anxiety confront and overcome their fears. She currently works at the Anxiety & OCD Treatment Center, LLC, in Wilmington, DE. Dr. Serine completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Anxiety and OCD Center in Malvern, PA. She also received specialty training through the Penn Anxiety Program at the University of Pennsylvania in family-focused therapy for anxiety disorders, an adjunctive couple and family intervention for individuals with anxiety. Dr. Serine received her Psy.D. and completed an American Psychological Association accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University.
