I am a health psychologist by both interest and training. My preferred work is where physical and mental health intersect. I have a background working with a variety of presenting concerns including chronic pain management, health behavior change, and psychosocial cancer treatment. I work with individuals on strategies to better cope with their physical health conditions while treating the many areas of mental health functioning that can be impacted by experiencing chronic health problems or acute health crises. I have experience in treating military veterans, active duty service members, members of the LGBTQA+ community, individuals from minority racial and ethnic backgrounds, and adults over age 65. I am familiar with many of the unique challenges that face individuals in these groups and will work to help each individual live their lives to the fullest. My style in therapy is eclectic and adaptable. I tailor strategies and approaches to an individual's needs and, whenever possible, their preferred style of working in therapy. My goal is to meet each individual where they are and walk with them to where they need and want to go.
