Dr. Jacowitz is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York City and the Clinical Director at The Park Slope Psychotherapy Group. She received her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Widener University and completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Brooklyn Minds Psychiatry. Dr. Jacowitz treats both children and adults and employs an integrative approach to treatment. She draws from multiple evidence-based treatment modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP) for OCD, and Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT). Additionally, her background in psychodynamic and attachment theories provide a strong foundation for the therapeutic alliance.
